An Original Vintage Theatrical Paperbacked Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 22") (Learn More) Times Square Lady, the 1935 George B. Seitz New York City romantic inheritance crime melodrama ("Country girl startles Broadway!"; a wacky story of a pretty girl going to New York City after her father dies, and finding he owned a bunch of businesses, but there is a crooked lawyer trying to swindle her, and there is a handsome man who romances her, but he is working with the lawyer) starring Robert Taylor (this was his first top-billed role after a series of minor roles!), Virginia Bruce, Pinky Tomlin, Helen Twelvetrees, Isabel Jewell, Nat Pendleton. Note that the plot of this movie is very similar to Mr. Deeds Goes to Town, which came out the following year, but with the sex of the heroes reversed (but the source stories for the two were written by different people). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. Prior to paperbacking, the card had many stains, tears, and areas of paper loss down the left and right 2", but the rest of the card was in pretty good condition. Overall, the card was in fair to good condition prior to paperbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
