An Autographed 4" x 6" [10 x 15 cm] Index Card (Learn More) Tippi Hedren (born Nathalie Kay Hedren) is an actress from the 1950s to the present. She is best remembered for starring in Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds and Marnie. She is also the mother of actress Melanie Griffith. In 1971, she was making a movie that involved a lion, and she learned of their poor treatment, which began her devotion to wild animals. In 1981, she spent $17 million to film the movie "Roar", about the treatment of big cats, and it only took in $2 million at the box office. She has devoted all the years since to helping wild animals. As of 2022, she is still alive at the age of 92! Important Added Info: This index card has been personally autographed (signed) by Tippi Hedren (we would not be able to decipher her signature, but someone wrote "Tippi Hedren 1/19/99" on the back in pencil, and we can't imagine why they would fake that!). The index card could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display! Our consignor obtained this autograph in person at a collectibles show. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain the signature is authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
