He is best known for his role as Keith Douglas on TV's "The Partridge Family". His father was actor Jack Cassidy and his stepmother was Shirley Jones, who appeared with him on The Partridge Family. His father passed away in 1977, and that year he married actress Kay Lenz, and they remained married for a decade. Some of his movies include: The Spirit of '76, Instant Karma, and Popstar. He passed away in 2017 at the age of 67 from organ failure associated with his longtime drinking problem.
