Wood, Jr.") science fiction (sci-fi) zombie horror thriller ("Unspeakable horrors from outer space paralyze the living and resurrect the dead!"; some consider this to be the very worst movie ever!) starring Bela Lugosi, Maila Nurmi (billed as "Vampira"; as the Vampire Girl), Lyle Talbot, Gregory Walcott, Mona McKinnon, Duke Moore, Tom Keene, Carl Anthony, Paul Marco, Tor Johnson, Dudley Manlove, Joanna Lee, John Brechinridge, Norma McCarty, Lynn Lemon, Conrad Brooks, and Tom Mason (as "Ghoul Man with Cape Over Face"). Note that Lugosi died during the beginning of filming in 1956, but the ever resourceful Ed Wood (knowing his movie would be doomed without his top star) hired his wife Kathy's chiropractor to film Lugosi's scenes, and he dressed in a vampire-like outfit and held a cape high over his face, and no one knew the difference (and sadly, the chiropractor, Tom Mason, could not, of course, be credited on screen).
