An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

The Slim Princess, the 1920 Victor Schertzinger silent Arabian fantasy comedy starring Mabel Normand (in the title role as Kalora), Hugh Thompson, Tully Marshall, Russ Powell, Lillian Sylvester, and Harry Lorraine. This movie has a truly weird plot (the following summary was provided to us by a Mabel Normand collector): "Mabel is the slim Princess Kalora of Morovenia, a land where fat is good. Mabel wears an inflated rubber suit but her ruse is punctured and she's deflated. She is saved by an American millionaire who thinks thin is in." Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that this is the earliest Clarence Sinclair Bull photo that we have ever had, and it is featured in the book "The Man who Shot Garbo: The Hollywood Photographs of Clarence Sinclair Bull" by Terence Pepper and John Kobal.

Condition: good to very good. There is tape on the back of each border, which slightly affects the front of those areas (see our images).
