An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Bobbed Hair, the 1922 Thomas N. Heffron silent romantic love triangle comedy ("Cutting loose from convention"; about a woman torn between a "respectable businessman" and a "futuristic poet" who lives in an art colony, but not surprisingly for the time, it turns out the poet is a creep who is married with children, and his wife catches him seducing the girl, who runs back to her respectable businessman) starring Wanda Hawley, William Boyd, Adele Farrington, Leigh Wyant, and Jane Starr. Note that this movie dealt with the then current craze of women wearing short hair, something that had not happened for an incredibly long time, if at all (of course, by the late 1920s, a high percentage of women had their hair short!). Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this title card, and that was in a complete set 6 years ago! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good. There are tiny gold paint stains in the bottom left blank corner, with a tiny tear to the right of that. There is a tiny "6" written in pencil in the top left blank corner, and a few faint smudges around the edges. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
