Woodward"; based on the story "Evelyn Prentice" by W.E. Woodward; about the wife of a prominent attorney, and after he cheats on her, she has an affair, but then her lover is killed, and she is blackmailed, and another woman is accused of the crime, and she asks her lawyer husband to defend that woman!) starring Virginia Bruce, Walter Pidgeon, Lee Bowman, Ann Dvorak, Ilka Chase, and Rita Johnson. Note that this was a faithful remake of the 1934 "Evelyn Prentice", starring William Powell and Myrna Loy. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good.
