Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Riders of the West, the 1942 Howard Bretherton cowboy western starring The Rough Riders (Buck Jones, Tim McCoy, and Raymond Hatton), Sarah Padden, Silver, Christine McIntyre, Charles King, and Milburn Morante. Note that Buck Jones' white horse was named Silver (just like The Lone Ranger's later on!), and Silver made 73 movies with Buck Jones from 1922 until Jones' death in 1942 in the tragic Cocoanut Grove fire. But oddly, Silver was almost never billed on the posters for Buck Jones' movies as so many other famous horses (most especially Tom Mix's Tony) were! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. smudges, scuffs, and minor creases throughout the card; water stains in the upper left corner of the card; tack holes around the edges of the card; pieces of tape on the back of the card along the top and bottom edges (do not appear to have any effect on the front) Learn More about condition grades
