An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Zaza, the 1939 George Cukor France romantic love triangle melodrama ("From the play by Pierre Berton and Charles Simon"; about a sexy singer in a French music hall who falls in love with a married aristocrat; Colbert plays a part that five years before would surely have been played by Marlene Dietrich!) starring Claudette Colbert (in the title role as Zaza), Herbert Marshall, Bert Lahr, Helen Westley, Constance Collier, Genevieve Tobin, Walter Catlett, and Ann Todd (not the famous actress, but a child actress with the same name, who was the fourth cousin of the wife of Abraham Lincoln!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Condition: very good. The still was printed slightly off center, which causes the image to be at a slight angle and the very bottom right of the credits to be slightly cut off. This was a somewhat common printing defect in vintage stills, and most collectors do not consider it a major defect if it is only slightly off center as it is in this case.
