Don't make me tell you what I've been!'"; based on the play by Robert E. Sherwood; about a World War I soldier whose sweetheart descends into a wretched life after she hears he was killed in the war, but he wasn't killed, and he finds her years later) starring Vivien Leigh ("Vivien Leigh's first role since 'Gone with the Wind'!"), Robert Taylor, Lucile Watson, Virginia Field, Maria Ouspenskaya, and C. Aubrey Smith. Note that there was an earlier version of this movie under the same title made in 1931 by James Whale, starring Mae Clarke, with Bette Davis in a small role.
