Big Leaguer, the 1953 Robert Aldrich baseball sports romantic melodrama ("Packed with Thrills, Laughs, Heart-throbs, Excitement, All the Way!"; "Based On a Story by John McNulty and Lewis Morheim") starring Edward G. Robinson (as the head of the Florida Tryout Camp for the major league New York Giants baseball team!), Vera-Ellen, Jeff Richards, Richard Jaeckel, William Campbell, and Carl Hubbell (real life baseball superstar!)
