A 1946 Re-release Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) Condemned, the 1929 Wesley Ruggles South America romantic love triangle escape-from-Devil's-Island prison crime melodrama ("All talking"; based on the novel by Blair Niles; about a bank robber on Devil's Island who gains the trust of the warden and falls in love with the warden's beautiful wife, and when she returns to France, he escapes so he can be with her) starring Ronald Colman (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Ann Harding, Louis Wolheim, Dudley Digges, and William Elmer NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fair to good. The poster had creases along both foldlines and a huge amount of scuffs in Colman's pants and in the head of the man next to him. There were some other scuffs in the image. There were pinholes, creases, tears, and areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking.
