Zanuck) starring Henry Fonda (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; as Tom Joad), Jane Darwell (winner of the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film; as Ma Joad), Charley Grapewin (as Grandpa Joad), Russell Simpson (as Pa Joad), John Carradine (as Jim Casy), Dorris Bowdon (as Rose-of-Sharon Rivers, spelled as "Rosasharn" in the movie credits), Zeffie Tilbury (as Grandma Joad), Frank Darien (as Uncle John Joad), Eddie Quillan (as Connie Rivers), John Qualen (as Muley Graves), Kitty McHugh (as the diner waitress, in one of the movie's most poignant scenes), Darryl Hickman (as Winfield Joad), and Shirley Mills (as Ruthie Joad). Note that this is one of the very rare cases where a really great book is turned into a really great movie! Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned three first release Italian photobustas (in two different sizes), but we have never before auctioned this first release Italian locandina (or any other Italian poster)! Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 13" x 24 1/4" [33 x 62 cm]. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. It appears that this poster had a top blank area that was neatly trimmed off. The poster has four horizontal folds, with some small stains around the edges and there once was a tax stamp in the top left corner. There are three tears in the left border that have tape on the back, and there is a small piece of tape on the back of a small tear in the bottom center image background. The poster can be displayed and enjoyed as it is, or certainly, it could be linenbacked. Learn More about condition grades
