Note that Alfred Hitchcock used the two taglines "The birds is coming!" and "The birds is here!" on several different types of advertising for this movie, no doubt because he thought it was funny that while it is technically grammatically correct when referring to the movie, they "sound wrong"! They passed out these masks so people (they are perforated so that the bird face can be separated and there are two small eye holes that punch out. Each mask has a different serial number on it. It states on the back that they will post a number at the box office, and if you have that number on your mask, then you get in free, BUT you have to be wearing the mask when you arrive! Obviously, this was an idiotic promotion that likely nobody participated in. Over 20 years ago, someone found a bunch of unused examples of these masks, and they were sold to collectors.
