An Original Vintage Assortment of Items (box containing items measures 12 1/2" x 12" x 3 1/4") (Learn More) This is a set of items that can be used to throw a party! Each item has the image of E.T. on it, and several have the classic "bike in front of the moon" image! This set includes 7 paper cups, 7 paper plates, 7 napkins, 1 tablecloth, 1 drawing of E.T., and 1 6-page two-sided brochure (advertising a magazine known as "Movies")! This set of items was created in conjunction with the release of E.T. the Extra Terrestrial, the classic 1982 Steven Spielberg science fiction (sci-fi) alien family fantasy melodrama ("His Adventure on Earth"; "He is afraid. He is totally alone. He is 3,000,000 light years from home."; "The mystery. The suspence. The adventure. The call... that started it all."; "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial"; "E.T. The Extra Terrestrial and his adventures on earth."; nominated for the Best Director and Best Picture Academy Award) starring Dee Wallace, Peter Coyote, Henry Thomas ("as Elliott"), Drew Barrymore, and Robert MacNaughton. Note that the above items will be sent to the purchaser in the original box that the studio sent the items to the newspaper reporter in (and they sent it via Federal Express!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this box of assorted items contains a brochure, a drawing, 7 cups, 7 plates, 7 napkins, and a tablecloth. These items were consigned to us by a former movie reviewer who worked for a newspaper. He would be invited to special promotional showings of movies, where the studios would give him special promotional items related to that movie. Some of these items were likely ones that were also later sold to the general public, but some were likely solely made to be given out as promotional items to reviewers. The newspaper reporter who consigned these items stored them away ever since he first received them, and has now consigned them to us! Condition: good to very good. The paper table cloth and the paper cups have not aged all that well, and have darkened in areas. The other items are in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
