An Original Vintage Unfolded World War I Poster (measures 30" x 40 1/4" [76 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) Keep These Off the U.S.A., the 1918 U.S. World War I (WWI) War Bond poster ("Buy more Liberty Bonds") encouraging civilians to help the war efforts, and featuring striking John Norton art of a pair of bloody boots with the German imperial eagle insignia and spurs! Artist: John Norton Condition: fair to good. The poster was never folded. It has many tears and areas of paper loss down the left and right, but it is all in the blank borders. There is a 14" tear in the bottom center of the poster and a 6" tear in the right of the top border, but they are clean tears. There are some creases and faint smudges scattered throughout the poster. After a relatively simple linenbacking (with replacement of the missing border paper), the poster will look great, but bear in mind the cost of the restoration before bidding on this poster.
