An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Movie Window Card (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More) Tillie and Gus, the 1933 Francis Martin huckster gambling boating screwball comedy (about an aging couple who have cheated many people as a team, and they are called to a place where a young couple and a baby are about to lose their boat, and after they are mistaken for missionaries, they decide to help the couple keep their boat and they do so by managing to win a boat race!) starring W.C. Fields (in the title role as Augustus 'Gus' Winterbottom), Alison Skipworth (in the title role as Tillie Winterbottom), Baby LeRoy (who was just a year old and in one of his first notable roles), Julie Bishop, and Phillip Trent NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: poor. There is circular paper loss in the lower right that affects Baby LeRoy's body and the fish he is on. There are also pinholes around the edges and a nail hole in each stars' cheek. Obviously, the card can be restored, but bear its significant defects and the cost of restoration in mind before bidding. Learn More about condition grades
