An Original 1950s (from the first release of this movie in Germany) Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked German "A1" Movie Poster (measures 23" x 33" [58 x 84 cm]) (Learn More) Van Renoir tot Picasso (literally translates to "From Renoir to Picasso"), the 1948 Paul Haesaerts Belgian artist biographical historical documentary (about Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Pablo Picasso). It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Bohn Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny creases and small tears on parts of the folds, and it had pinholes and tears around the edges, with tears and areas of paper loss down the right 1/2" of the right border, but solely in the solid black area. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
