To trap a killer!"; as usual, Blackie is falsely accused of murder, and he must find the real murderer to clear himself) starring Chester Morris (in the title role as Boston Blackie), Lynn Merrick, Richard Lane, Frank Sully, and George E. Stone. Note that this is one of fourteen movies made in the 1940s with Chester Morris playing the fictional character "Boston Blackie", a former crook turned detective (there had been ten silent movies made in the 1920s), all of which were based on short stories by Jack Boyle.
