Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Six-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 81" x 81") (Learn More) The Eternal Two, the 1922 Eugene V. Brewster silent romantic melodrama starring Corliss Palmer ("The million dollar beauty"). We can find almost no information about this movie, but we know that in 1920, Motion Picture Magazine ran a "Fame and Fortune Contest" which included a role in a film to the winner of the contest (we have auctioned all the issues of that magazine from that time, and of course, the contest was heavily promoted in every issue!). No doubt tens of thousands of young women submitted entries, and the winner was picked by Mary Pickford, Lillian Gish, and Hope Hampton, three of the top female stars of the day. They picked Corliss Palmer, who had won a beauty contest, but had no theatrical training. Miss Palmer appeared in a handful of other movies into the early 1930s, including Bromo & Juliet in 1926 with Oliver Hardy and Charley Chase. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This six-sheet was printed in 6 sections. Condition: very good. all of the sections of the poster are fragile (but not brittle); separation and some small paper loss on the foldlines, but overall the poster is in quite nice condition considering its age. If it were linenbacked, it would look great! Learn More about condition grades
