An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Taza, Son of Cochise, the 1954 Douglas Sirk 3-D (3D; 3-Dimension) romantic Native American Indian cowboy western ("He led the Apache nation against Geronimo's pillaging hordes!"; "Thrilling in 3-D") starring Rock Hudson (as a Native American Indian!; in the title role as Taza), Barbara Rush, Gregg Palmer, Bart Roberts, Joe Sawyer, Morris Ankrum, Ian MacDonald (as Geronimo), and Jeff Chandler (uncredited and his third time playing Cochise). Note that director Sirk is best remembered today for his soap opera melodramas made with producer Ross Hunter, but Sirk said that this movie (also produced by Ross Hunter) was his favorite American work (and his only western)! The studios created both 3D and 2D posters and lobby cards (the 2-D posters and lobby cards were for theaters that lacked the 3-D equipment). This poster is from the "3-D" release. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had small paper loss at the top crossfold and some tiny bits of paper loss on small parts of some foldlines. It had pinholes in the corners.
