In 1956, she began touring the world, and she passed away in 1998. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Artist: Boris Grinsson Important Added Info: What IS linenbacking? Learn More UPDATED 9/30/2010: Note that an expert collector pointed out that this was a Russian film originally titled Bolshoy Kontsert directed by Vera Stroyeva. He also suggests that this may be a 1950s re-release of this documentary (because it was first released in France in 1952 as Le Grande Concert). Condition: good to very good. The poster had darkened on several foldlines and there were small tears and areas of paper loss on parts of some foldlines. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did little restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting. Note that the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen on the left and right borders of the poster. Learn More about condition grades
