An Original Vintage Theatrical Color 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still #1 (Learn More) It's Always Fair Weather, the 1955 Gene Kelly & Stanley Donen post-World War II (WWII) romantic musical comedy ("MGM's Gigantic and Joyous Musical in CinemaScope and Color!"; "Story and Screen Play by Betty Comden and Adolph Green"; "Music by Andre Previn"; a great plot about three soldiers in World War II who agree when the war ends to meet at a bar in New York City ten years to the day later, and when they do, they discover that they have changed quite a bit) starring Gene Kelly, Dan Dailey, Cyd Charisse, Dolores Gray, and Michael Kidd (the famous choreographer in an acting role as one of the ex-G.I.s) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that although this still was "printed in Great Britain", it has full NSS information. Perhaps it was intended to be used in both countries (we have heard from collectors who saw these color stills in U.S. theaters at the time the movies were released, but we have not heard from any English collectors as to whether they were used in England at that time). If any English collector knows if this was or was not used in English theaters when the movies were released, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: fair to good.
