An Original Vintage Unfolded Danish Stage Play Poster (measures 16 1/2" x 23 3/4" [42 x 60 cm]) (Learn More)

Pinocchio, the 1980s Danish stage play production (adapted from the works of Italian writer Carlo Collodi and [based on the artwork] the 1940 Disney film) which was held at the Christiania children's theater. Christiania, also known as Freetown Christiania (Fristaden Christiania), is a self-proclaimed autonomous anarchist district of about 850 to 1,000 residents, covering 84 acres in the Danish capital city of Copenhagen. Christiania has been a source of controversy since its creation in a squatted military area in 1971. Also, note that while many see Pinocchio as simply an enjoyable tale, some see a deeper (and hidden) meaning to the story.
