Artist: Anselmo Ballester Important Added Info: Note that it is difficult to accurately date Italian posters, and some unmarked re-release posters can be extremely difficult to distinguish from first releases, so please bear that in mind before you place a bid. We used our best information to date this poster, but we can't always guarantee that the Italian posters we sell are not from an unmarked re-release, but this will only prove to be true in a very tiny number of cases. Condition: fair to good. The poster had tiny bleedthrough from writing on the back in the red background area at lower right (just above the "E" of "SALOME"). Otherwise, it had minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but at some point after it was backed, it became heavily water stained down the right edge. While this is very sad, it is fortunate that it is solely in the excess linen and the blank white border, and not at all in the red background or in the poster image. Certainly, this poster needs to be removed from the damaged backing and properly re-backed, but once this is done, this wonderful poster will look great, and it will only require some additional restoration in the right blank white border. But please do not bid on this poster unless you have carefully read the above and understand that it absolutely needs to be re-backed! Learn More about condition grades
