The Enemy Is Listening, the 1942 U.S. World War II (WWII) Home Front poster ("The enemy is listening. He wants to know what you know. Keep it to yourself"; "Military Intelligence Division, War Department, Office of Naval Intelligence, Navy Department, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Justice") encouraging people to avoid helping the enemy by carelessly talking about war information. This may seem "heavy-handed" by today's standards, but back then, it was strongly believed that the Axis countries had many spies living undercover in America, and that "loose lips" could "sink ships"!

Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good to very good. The poster has some creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of some edges (partially repaired with tape from the back at lower left and upper right) and there is some slight discoloration at lower center due to exposure to moisture.
