A 1948 Realart Re-Release Theatrical Laminated Movie Lobby Card #7 (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Son of Dracula, the 1943 Robert Siodmak Universal vampire monster horror thriller sequel ("Red Lips Thirsting!"; "Pale Hands Caressing!"; in this sequel, the Count travels from Budapest to the Deep South of the U.S.!; this is the first Dracula movie that shows him transforming into a bat on screen) starring Louise Allbritton, Robert Paige, Evelyn Ankers, Frank Craven, J. Edward Bromberg, Samuel S. Hinds, Adeline De Walt Reynolds, Pat Moriarty, and Lon Chaney Jr. (in the title role as Count Dracula; he is credited on some posters as "Lon Chaney as Count Dracula", though his actual character name in this film is "Count Alucard", which of course is "Dracula" spelled backwards!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card has been laminated! It is quite likely that there is no way to reverse this process. However, I have seen many lobby cards that have been laminated for over 20 years, and the lamination does not hurt the cards in any way, plus it seems to completely protect them, while allowing them to be easily displayed with no fear of damage. HOWEVER, PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS LOBBY CARD UNLESS YOU WANT TO PURCHASE A LAMINATED LOBBY CARD! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fair to good. Prior to lamination, the card had darkened slightly. It had some minor border wear. After it was laminated, it acquired a partial diagonal crease running across the center, and going through Chaney's forehead and one eyebrow (see our image).
