Date Sold 5/12/2024 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 20 formerly tri-folded single-sided 27x41 one-sheets from Blue Summer, the 1973 Chuck Vincent hitchhiker vansploitation sexploitation movie ("Young bodies on the prowl."; ".They pay by the mile!") starring Darcey Hollingsworth, Bo White, Joann Sterling, Melissa Evers, and Chris Jordan. Note that this was apparently the first "vansploitation" (a term used for a genre of films from the 1970s in which vans are a key element to the plot) movie. It was released in an X-rated version in 1973 and then re-edited and re-released in 1975 in an R-rated version. IMPORTANT! The lot contains multiple examples of the same poster, so we have only pictured one, but the winner of this auction receives all of them! These one-sheets were tri-folded only (which means there is no vertical machine fold). Because sending tri-folded one-sheets in an oversized flat package, which measures roughly 13" x 30", would cost much more than sending them rolled in a tube, we have opened these and they will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. We have only pictured one of the posters, but all of them are in similar condition. See the one that we pictured to get a sense of the condition of all the posters.
