It's the top LADDventure!"; "Alan Ladd is blasting the Crime-Lords of the Mystic East with Veronica Lake in the powder-keg city they call 'Saigon'"; "Ace hit unites Ladd, Lake in new, glamorous setting"; "Based on a story by Julian Zimet") starring Alan Ladd, Veronica Lake, Douglas Dick, Wally Cassell, Luther Adler, Morris Carnovsky, Mikhail Rasumny, and Luis Van Rooten NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the restorer did a good job, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). OR you can't see the restoration because it was so well done, but the poster had fairly significant defects. OR no restoration was performed, but the defects are not major, and restoration could be done to the poster without re-backing it. See below for its pre-restoration defects (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had extra horizontal creases in-between the regular ones. There was a diagonal crease going through Ladd's chin and a diagonal crease going through the title area.
