Up The River, the 1938 Alfred L Werker prison escape crime musical screwball comedy ("Based upon the original story by Maurine Watkins") starring Preston Foster, Tony Martin, Phyllis Brooks, Slim Summerville, Arthur Treacher, Alan Dinehart, Eddie Collins, Jane Darwell, Sidney Toler, Bill 'Bojangles' Robinson, and Edward Gargan. Note that this was apparently a wacky spoof of the crime movies that were so popular in the 1930s, but the movie seems to be completely forgotten today, except by major film buffs.

Condition: very good. There is tiny paper loss in the top right corner and some scuffs scattered in the image. See our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this card. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
