Shijie (released in English-speaking countries as "The World"), the 2004 Jia Zhang Ke Chinese/Japanese/French China modernization melodrama (about the "World Park" outside Beijing which includes replicas of world famous landmarks including the Eiffel Tower, the Sphinx, and the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the movie shows the sad life of the workers at the park; "Why Bother Leaving Beijing, When You Can See the World") starring Zhao Tao, Cheng Taisheng, Wang Hongwei, Huang Yiqun, and Jiang Zhongwei
