An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) The Naughty Nineties, the 1945 Jean Yarbrough historical gambling screwball comedy ("Who's on First? Hear Abbott and Costello Tell Their Famous 'Baseball' story!"; about card sharks taking over a Mississippi riverboat and trying to convert it into a gambling casino) starring Bud Abbott ("Bud '23 Skidoo' Abbott"), Lou Costello (Abbott and Costello; "Lou 'Oh You Kid' Costello"), Alan Curtis, Rita Johnson, Henry Travers, Lois Collier, Joe Sawyer, Adelaide De Lapp, and Billy Ward. Note that some of the posters for this movie depict Abbott and Costello in baseball uniforms, with the tagline "WHO'S ON FIRST? Hear Abbott and Costello tell their famous 'BASEBALL' STORY!", and this is the only first release Abbott and Costello movie that has posters that feature them performing this most classic routine (the compilation film, "World of Abbott & Costello", also has posters that depict them performing this routine). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. There is minor separation at the crossfold and some of the ends of the foldlines and there are several pieces of clear tape on the back of the poster along the foldlines and around the edges, but they appear to be there mostly for reinforcement purposes. The poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition and it displays well. Learn More about condition grades
