An Undated (probably 1970s) Re-Release Theatrical Folded Thai Movie Poster (measures 21 1/2" x 31" [55 x 79 cm]) (Learn More) La Tulipe Noire (released in English as "The Black Tulip"), the 1964 Christian-Jaque French/Italian/Spanish swashbuckling romantic action adventure comedy (based on the Alexandre Dumas pere novel; essentially simply a French version of The Scarlet Pimpernel or Zorro; it is set in the era of the French Revolution, and the hero is a French Count who is a masked hero called "The Black Tulip" at night, and the people love him as a "Robin Hood" type of hero) starring Alain Delon (in the title role as The Black Tulip/Count Guillaume de Saint Preux), Virna Lisi, Adolfo Marsillach, Dawn Addams, and Akim Tamiroff NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
