An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Other Company One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Men Are Such Fools ("and how the girls like it!"), the 1938 Busby Berkeley ad agency romantic love triangle melodrama ("When three gentleman prefer the same blonde... Does it prove she's got something there? Or just that... 'Men Are Such Fools'"; "From a Saturday Evening Post story by Faith Baldwin"; about a pretty female employee at an ad agency who is romanced by several of the men workng there) starring Wayne Morris, Priscilla Lane, Humphrey Bogart, Penny Singleton, Mona Barrie, and Hugh Herbert. Note that this movie was made after Humphrey Bogart's triumphant return to Hollywood in The Petrified Forest, but he was still third billed behind Wayne Morris and Priscilla Lane in this movie. Also note that director Busby Berkeley's name is completely tied to Warner Bros. musicals, but this was one of the movies he directed that was NOT a musical! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this was printed by the "other company". This was a company in the Midwest that from roughly 1936 to roughly 1941 printed its own one-sheets and lobby card sets (and a very few inserts and half-sheets) for three major studio movies (Warner Brothers, Paramount and United Artists, but no other studios). The posters and lobby cards are from the original release of the movie, and almost always have completely different artwork from the regular studio release. They never have the name of the releasing studio on the poster or any of the lobby cards. Sometimes, "other company" posters or lobby cards have images that are the equal of those from the regular studio release posters or lobby cards! Condition: good to very good. There were a total of ten nail holes around the edges of the poster. Someone took masking tape and put it on the back of the holes and then did amateur restoration to the front of the poster in each of those areas. Otherwise, the poster is in pretty good condition!
