An Original Vintage Theatrical Australian Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3 1/4" x 3 1/4") (Learn More) The Jerk, the classic 1979 Carl Reiner rags-to-riches-to-rags adventure romantic screwball comedy ("He was a poor black sharecropper's son who never dreamed he was adopted."; "A rags to riches to rags story.") starring Steve Martin (as Navin), Bernadette Peters (as Marie), Catlin Adams, Jackie Mason ("as Harry Hartounain"), Mabel King, and Carl Reiner (the director in a cameo as the celebrity who goes cross-eyed from Navin's invention) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the edges of the slide nearly as well. Condition: very good to fine. This slide (like almost all other Australian glass slides we have seen) measures approximately 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" and consists of two panes of glass that are attached with a masking tape-like tape across the top and bottom borders, with nothing on the left and right borders.
