Muestra de filmes salvados por FIAF (literally translates to "Sample of Films Saved by FIAF"), the 1990 Cuban poster advertising for a film festival of films that were saved by FIAF, the International Federation of Film Archives, that was held at the Cine la Rampa from April 15th to the 30th. This poster features great artwork of Charlie Chaplin in a prison uniform by Nestor Coll.

Important Added Info: Note that silkscreen (also known as screen printing) is a printing technique whereby a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a poster. Only one color is printed at a time, so several screens must be used to produce a multicolored design, and it is a laborious technique because it is traditionally all done by hand. Because of the rich thickness of the layer of color on the paper and the resulting depth and brilliance achieved through silkscreen printing, this technique was preferred by many artists throughout many cultures and periods.
