Zanuck; based on the novel "by Eric Knight"; a wild story of a daughter of an English general who joins the WAAF, which was the English version of the WACs; she meets a soldier on leave, and had a torrid affair with him, but then learns he is a deserter; he tries to make things right and is badly wounded heroically saving a woman and her child, and she meets with him in the hospital while he is at Death's door) starring Tyrone Power Jr., Joan Fontaine, Thomas Mitchell, Nigel Bruce, Gladys Cooper, Philip Merivale, Sara Allgood, Alexander Knox, Henry Stephenson, Jill Esmond, and Arthur Shields NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that a paper snipe was glued to the back of the still, and then folded over to the front. This was done rather than gluing the snipe to the back, so that the snipe could be unfolded and the still could be displayed with the snipe unfolded, which would let moviegoers read the information on the snipe in the lobby (and of course, the snipe would be folded backwards, so it would not show). This was done with many stills of the 1930s, but often, the snipes are either partially or completely lost, because it is easier for them to be torn off.
