Bradley; unnumbered; measures 11 1/4" x 15 1/2" [29 x 39 cm]) (Learn More) Maitres de l'Affiche (literally translates to "Masters of the Poster"), one of the 1885 - 1900 French art print sets created during the Belle Epoque in Paris, France. The prints were reproduced from the original works of ninety-seven artists, and was put together by Jules Cheret, often known as the Father of Poster Art. The varied selection of prints were sold in packages of four and delivered monthly to subscribers. On sixteen occasions, the monthly package included a bonus of a specially created lithograph. Artist: Will H. Bradley Important Added Info: Note that Will H. Bradley was an American Art Nouveau illustrator and artist from the 1880s to the 1960s. He was nicknamed the "Dean of American Designers" by The Saturday Evening Post, and he was the highest paid American artist of the early 20th century. Note that, as described above, this is an original 1895 French art print! There is a faint embossed seal in the bottom right corner, which helps guarantee it is authentic. Condition: very good.
