A 1973 Re-Release (re-titled "Housewife" for this re-release) Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Bone, the 1972 Larry Cohen interracial sexploitation comedy ("Love Bone before he loves you") starring Yaphet Kotto, Andrew Duggan, Joyce Van Patten, Jeannie Berlin (billed as "and introducing Jeannie Berlin"), and Casey King. Note that Larry Cohen had much success in TV in the 1960s, with many serious shows, including "The Defenders". In the early 1970s, he took a major shift in his writing focus, and he had great success with blaxploitation movies like "Black Caesar" and "Hell Up in Harlem", and then he shifted yet again in the early 1980s, directing and writing the "It's Alive" horror movies! Also note that this movie was quickly re-released to cash in on the new-found fame of Jeannie Berlin, who starred in the late 1972 film The Heartbreak Kid. The posters for this re-release deceptively feature large artwork of Jeannie and have her in the top tagline as "Jeannie Heartbreak Kid Berlin", despite the fact that she only had a small part in the movie! Note that in recent months we started auctioning a wonderful collection of sexploitation one-sheets that includes many extremely rare titles from a single collector. There are also a number with great images or taglines.
