Artist: Peter Hujar Important Added Info: Note that at the time this movie was made, New Line Cinema only made odd-sized posters for its releases, and NO regular (27" x 41") one-sheets. This poster is one of the two first release posters created for this movie by New Line (we don't know if one came before the other, as they have extremely similar writing on each, and New Line may have issued two different posters). One measures 17" x 20 3/4" and is black & white, and the other measures 11" x 16 1/2" and is color. The poster offered in this auction is the black & white poster. Note that this poster has been paperbacked. What IS paperbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. Prior to paperbacking, the poster was folded once in each direction and there were some creases and tiny dots of paper loss on both folds. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to paperbacking. The restorer paperbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster).
