Promises!, the 1963 King Donovan sexploitation comedy ("You read about her in Playboy Magazine...Now see all of Jayne Mansfield!";"This is the first time I've ever appeared Completely Nude!"; "Uncut! Uncensored! European Version!"; about two beautiful women on a cruise ship who attend a drunken party and wake up pregnant and don't know who the fathers are; obviously, this movie's plot was loosely inspired by Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, which Tommy Noonan also appeared in) starring Jayne Mansfield, Marie McDonald (she was known as "Marie the Body McDonald"), Tommy Noonan, Mickey Hargitay, and Fritz Feld. Note that the posters for this movie said that you were seeing the "uncut uncensored European version", but it doesn't seem like a cut or censored version ever played in the U.S., so we don't know what they were talking about! Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the top crossfold and minor fold wear. It had tiny paper loss in the bottom right blank corner. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! A tiny bit of the bottom left blank corner is "lifting" from the linen. It will not show if the poster is framed, and any restorer or talented amateur could re-glue that area without re-backing the poster. Learn More about condition grades
