R72 Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" Movie Still (Learn More)

A King in New York, the 1957 Charles Chaplin English/U.S. comedy satire ("The King of Comedians in his latest and most hilarious film"; "Original story and script by Charles Chaplin"; "Charles Chaplin adds another jewel to his comedy crown as... A King in New York"; Chaplin was appalled by the McCarthy Hearings, and this movie is a satire on that, with a deposed king of an unnamed country coming to New York for asylum, but he is falsely accused of being a Communist!) starring Charlie Chaplin (billed here as 'Charles Chaplin'; in the title role as King Shahdov), Maxine Audley, Jerry Desmonde, Oliver Johnston, Dawn Addams, Michael Chaplin (son of Charlie!), Maxine Audley, and Harry Green
