An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Australian One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 40") (Learn More) Woman of the Year, the classic 1942 George Stevens newspaper journalism baseball sports romantic comedy ("The picture of the year!"; "Original screen play by Ring Lardner, Jr., and Michael Kanin") starring Spencer Tracy, Katharine Hepburn (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Fay Bainter, Reginald Owen, Minor Watson, William Bendix, Roscoe Karns, Agnes Moorehead, and Grant Withers. Note that this was the first of nine movies real life lovers Tracy and Hepburn starred in together, and many people consider it the best of the nine! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this Australian one-sheet measures 27" x 40". Condition: good. There is a tape stain on the back of the poster that bleeds through to the front at upper left and right. There is some uneven discoloration throughout the poster from it being stored folded for a long period of time and there is some separation at the crossfolds and ends of the foldlines. The poster is otherwise in generally nice condition and after a simple linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster will look fantastic, and it will likely require little paint restoration within the image.
