An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Chapter #9 ("The Devil Bird") One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Jungle Jim, the 1936 Ford Beebe & Clifford Smith jungle adventure serial ("Based upon the sensational King Features newspaper strip by Alex Raymond", who was also the artist for Flash Gordon; "12 roaring chapters among wild men and beasts of prey!") starring Grant Withers (in the title role "as Jungle Jim"), Betty Jane Rhodes ("as Joan, the Lion Goddess"), Raymond Hatton ("as Malay Mike"), Paul Sutton ("as LaBat"), Evelyn Brent, Bryant Washburn, Al Bride, Al Duvall, Frank McGlynn Jr., Henry Brandon, and William Royle. Note that beginning in 1948, there was a very successful series of B-movies based on this same character, with Johnny Weissmuller playing the lead role in all of them.
