Artist: Noriyoshi Ohrai Important Added Info: Note that while this poster was sold to the public, it was sold only at theaters during the first release of the film and NOT outside of the theaters or after the end of the first release! It is considered to be more rare than the Japanese theatrical posters from this same title. Some have a tiny silver metallic square licensing snipe attached to the bottom left corner (and some, like this example, do not). The last example of this poster we auctioned sold for $1,884! Note that this special "all Star Wars" auction began with a phone call from a VERY long time collector of Star Wars posters! He told us that he had reached a point in his life where he was wanting to sell his collection, and he asked if we could do it all at one time. Because he had 174 posters (including many of the most rare and desirable ones), we were happy to comply, but we told him that we would like to also add additional rare Star Wars posters from other collectors, and he agreed, and after we were consigned an additional 117 posters and related items, we have our auction! Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. It has a few light creases scattered in various areas and a few tiny, visible creases around the edges and some very minor edge wear. None of the creases are very noticeable from any reasonable viewing distance and the poster is otherwise in just about as nice a condition as one could hope for! Learn More about condition grades
