And Deadlier Than Steel!"; "They called it God's country...until the devil put this woman there!"; "From the novel and Saturday Evening Post serial by Luke Short") starring Joel McCrea (in the title role "as the Ramrod"), Veronica Lake ("as the Deceiver"), Donald Crisp ("as the Law"), Don DeFore ("as the Killer"), Preston Foster, Arleen Whelan, Lloyd Bridges, and Charlie Ruggles NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. The still was used in a magazine, and someone used a sharp object to trace around Lake's hair, dress, and body (this was often done, because it enhanced how the photo appeared in the magazine). It is not noticeable at all when the still is looked at head on, but it is very noticeable when the still is tilted to the light. There is a 1/2" tear and a 2" crease in the bottom center, that very slightly affects one of Lake's toes. There are some creases and faint smudges scattered throughout the still, but they are also mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light. Learn More about condition grades
