Kauffman and Moss Hart"; "The Pulitzer prize play comes to you at last... with everything you've ever asked for in a great picture!"; "Thrill to the great Pulitzer prize play... now the year's biggest picture!"; winner of the Best Picture Academy Award; about the son of a rich family of snobs who falls in love with the daughter of a group of very eccentric people, and the two very different families clash) starring Jean Arthur, Lionel Barrymore, James Stewart (Jimmy Stewart), Edward Arnold, Mischa Auer, Ann Miller (in her 5th credited movie role at the age of 15!), Spring Byington (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Samuel S. Important Added Info: Note that this still shows an incredible candid portrait that was taken of the entire cast sitting on a fence with Frank Capra. Note that the black African American actors were included, which was unusual for the time, although they did have to sit on one end. This image was used in a campaign book, but we are not aware of any posters with this wonderful image! Also note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm]. Condition: fair to good. There is much staining (purple and light brown) scattered across the top of the still, entering the image background in a few areas. There are also a few creases scattered in the still. Certainly, the still can be restored (and the staining has almost no effect on the image, and none on the stars' images), but bear this in mind before bidding on this wonderful still!
