Million Dollar Legs, the 1939 Nick Grinde college university boat racing sports teen comedy ("Based on a story by Lewis R. Foster") starring Betty Grable, Jackie Coogan (at the time, Grable and Coogan were married!), Joyce Mathews, Donald O'Connor, Buster Crabbe (billed as "Larry Crabbe"), John Hartley, and Peter Lind Hayes (in his first credited role!). Note that after this movie, Betty Grable was described as having "million dollar legs", and her legs were insured for $1,000,000 by Lloyds of London (and a pinup of her looking over her shoulder in a bathing suit displaying her "million dollar legs" was one of the most popular pinups during World War II!). Note that there was a 1932 W.C. Fields movie with the same name as this movie, but it has no connection to this movie other than the title.
