The Cosmic Man, the 1959 Herbert Greene science fiction (sci-fi) alien visitors thriller ("Is It True? Are Creatures from Space watching us Now?"; "Out of this universe! The Cosmic Phantom from Time and Space!"; "'We could feel hypnotic eyes roving over our bodies ...watching ...spying!'"; "Cosmic Phantom... X-Ray Creature... On a satellite from space!"; "Original story and screenplay by Arthur C. Pierce") starring Bruce Bennett, John Carradine (in the title role as Cosmic Man), Angela Greene, Scotty Morrow, and Paul Langton

Condition: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the top crossfold (in the creature's chin), and to the left and right of that. There was other paper loss in the vertical foldline just below the creature's hand, in the solid dark area. There was small paper loss at both other crossfolds. There were tears with small paper loss in the left of the middle foldline and tiny areas of paper loss in the left edge of the left blank border. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above (but any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster). Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. If I owned this poster, I would surely have additional restoration performed, because it would greatly improve the appearance of the poster.
