Artist: Stevenov Important Added Info: The poster was placed on to a very thin linen backing shortly after being printed. The purpose was to reinforce the poster, so that it would survive, when it was passed from theater to theater, and when it was put up on walls and taken down. Such posters can be professionally removed from the original linen and placed on to a proper linen backing. I have done this to several such posters, and they end up looking wonderful! Condition: fair. There is paint over the title area at lower right. There is a stain in the woman's leg left of center and there is some discoloration throughout the poster. There is what appears to be glue on the back of the poster (apparently, the poster was glued to a wall at one time). There is some tattering and tiny paper loss along the foldlines. Surely, a talented restorer could remove the old linen and properly back the poster, but please do not bid on this poster unless you are willing to accept its defects.
